		<description>I actually got pretty good with a sling as a boy. Best shot ever was knocking a woodpecker off the top of a streetlight pole. I used venetian blind chord and an old shoe tongue for the pouch.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The range on a sling was better than on a rubber-powered slingshot, so when we had wars, I had the advantage over distance, though not in speed. (To keep from killing each other, we used dirt clods.)</description>
